This new release compiles a series of high-quality MP3 into one package, with the first eight dialogues in Ojai appearing on disc one, and seven at Brockwood on disc two. (Nineteen hours).
These dialogues between J. Krishnamurti, the revolutionary religious teacher, and the eminent theoretical physicist David Bohm began in the spring of 1980 in Ojai, California. They are an exploration into the conflicts in human activity and our relationship to the world. They lead to new insights into thought and the problem of the fragmented mind, death, order in the universe and the ground of all being.
There were eight sessions in Ojai, followed by seven more later in the year at Brockwood Park in England. Krishnamurti and Bohm had been meeting since the 1960s, and these recordings capture the dynamic interaction in their mutual inquiry.
This two-disc set contains unedited MP3 files and includes two dialogues which did not appear in the original publication of The Ending of Time.
Playing the New Format:. To hear the dialogues, you will need either a CD player which is MP3 CD compatible (many of the new one's are, even the basic ones), or a computer. On a computer you can copy the MP3 files into your Windows Media Player or iTunes music library, and then perhaps onto an iPod or other MP3 player if you have one. If you don't have either an MP3 CD player or a computer, some DVD players will also play the discs through your television set.
