In this series of discussions, many of the students’ questions and comments are refreshingly blunt and guileless. There is a tremendous sense of affection as Krishnamurti explores their questions in ways that relate to the children’s own lives.

They talk about intelligence, security, meditation and concentration, the value of education and learning, and even God. Although denying being the teacher, Krishnamurti shows the quality of true teaching—the relationship between the educator and the student. Often, at the end of the discussion, he invites the students to sit quietly with him for a few minutes.
