Can the brain ever be free from all the programmes it has received? Is it possible through watching the very activity of thought? This watchfulness makes the brain extraordinarily acute, sharp, clear? This clarity is freedom.

2nd Conversation: Thought and Time Are the Cause of Fear

Q: What is the fact of fear?

Can we look at fear and in the very act of looking discover the origin of it?

Can we see, not a particular branch or leaf, but the whole nature, the structure, the quality of fear?

3rd Conversation: Religion Is an Enquiry

Q: What to you is religion?

Is it the search of human beings for something other than their petty self-centred activity.

Religion is an enquiry without a motive putting aside authority, an enquiry that has no path, no direction.
