Are You Aware that You Lead a Double Life?

Q: What are you concerned about in your daily life?

Are you concerned with living a life that is righteous, honest, sane? One leads a hypocritical life; saying one thing and doing another, talking about God and leading an ugly, brutal, daily violent life.

Are you aware that you lead a contradictory life? Are you seriously concerned to change it? Why is there this contradiction, these opposing desires?

If we deal with what is actually going on, there is no contradiction. Most of us live in a world of ideas not with facts. Any form of interference by ideals distorts, or makes me escape from the fact.

Can you observe without the word?

Q: How can one learn about fear and be free from it?

We have many forms of fear. Which is the fear that you have? Is it the fear of tomorrow, of wasting your life, of losing security both physical and psychological? Are you afraid of public opinion, of suffering, of death?

Time is a movement. Habit, conditioning, tradition everything is from the past. The future then is the modification of the past, meeting the present and shaping the future.

So life is a movement from the past, through the present to the future. Now what is it that you are frightened of?
