Living Without Sorrow

Q: What do we mean by seeing?

To observe without division, without the "me" interfering in the observation. I'm listening to you without interpretation, translation, any form of judgement; I'm absolutely listening.

If I have no image of you, then I'm always seeing you anew, fresh. Our relationship is actually between two images. The images being the past, the knowledge of each other and the mind holds to that.

When you empty the content your consciousness as the "me" is not and you're listening with quite a different elan, at a different dimension.

Is there a way of living in which sorrow doesn't exist?

What is The Point of Education?

What is the function, the quality of the educator? He must establish a relationship with the student which is not authoritarian; a relationship of mutual inquiry, study.

The love of what I'm doing explodes everything else; that very love is the highest form of excellence. The more I learn the more I love. Relationship in which all sense of making me conform to your ideal disappears, therefore it is a relationship of real affection and that is enough.

Is there psychological progress at all? As generally understood meditation is an escape. Meditation in the deep sense of the word is non-clinical, non-analytical, but seeing things as they are in myself, what I am. Self-knowing is much more important than meditation.
