Q: What is the nature of "what is"?
The whole history of man for two millions years, or forty thousand years, is part of our consciousness, our story.
Do you, having studied the world's history, admit or see the truth that you are the result of that vast complex book of the story of man? I want to read that book because it is an extraordinary one. What is the instrument with which I read it?
What is the mind and what is the brain? The brain has infinite capacity. What is the distinction between thought and brain? Can thought ever be free from its limitation? The responsibility then is to uncondition the brain, uncondition the limitation which thought imposes on it.
Is there an action, a movement, a state, which is not the movement of thought? Have you ever looked at the beauty of the sea, the vast movement of the tides, the power of the waves, with all your senses and eyes looking?
